Top 5 Online Streaming Subscriptions to Buy

No one I know has a cable plan or package anymore. It seems like the essentials have come down to getting an Internet & cellular service plan only. For those who do get cable, it’s only because they have kids or are just live tv watchers. I however am an avid online steamer. I pay for Internet, my cellar data plan, and my top 5 online streaming services. Each of these subscriptions you can try for FREE with a free trail.

If you already have an Amazon subscription, then any of these options will be an easy add-on.

1

Start your HBO trial today and watch Game of Thrones, VICE, Big Little Lies, Insecure, Curb Your Enthusiasm, & Vice Principals.

I couldn’t imagine living without my HBO subscription. Not only can I watch top rated movies that have just released, but I get to watch Westworld and more. From tv series such as Game of Thrones, Vinyl, and Vice Principals  I can always stream with a click of a button. When my girlfriend comes over we usually watch Sex and the City or GIRLS on HBO Now. Since I got an Amazon Prime subscription I just added HBO to my subscription.

2

Start your Hulu trial and watch the Handmaid’s Tales, ESPN live, unlock latest episodes of Scandal & How To Get Away With Murder.

Hulu is an online subscription I would recommend any one get. It has a variety of tv shows you can watch. Hulu has produced a couple of really good Hulu Original series. Some of my favorite Hulu Original series to watch are the Handmaid’s Tale and Harlots. Plus, I love watching sports live on ESPN on Hulu.

3

Start your Showtime trial today and watch Twin Peaks, Homeland, Shameless, SMILF, Billions, The Affair & Dexter.

Showtime has released some re-makes over the pass years. They have had a lot of success with reproducing the originally scripted British series Shameless in America. Shameless is about an alcoholic father who is struggling to raise six kids who are coping with his drunken behavior. Showtime recently rebooted Twin Peaks, an American mystery drama that follows the investigation of a FBI agent uncovering the murder of a young woman. It originally premiered on April 8, 1990. The third season picked by up 25 years later on Showtime. It is worth the watch if you love to subscribe to drama and mystery tv shows. You can try Showtime for free for 7-days with a trial. If you don’t like any of these online streaming subscriptions, then just be sure to set a reminder to cancel.

4

Start your Amazon Prime trial and watch Transparent, Red Oaks, the Tick, and the Grand Tour.

So I use the Amazon Fire TV Stick or Google Chrome Cast to display my online streaming services because I don’t have a Sony 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV that has everything built in. But I am trying to buy a new TCL Ultra HD Roku Smart TV for Christmas that includes all the apps I possible could ever want. I watch Amazon Prime videos all the time on my computer or when I’m bored at work. Transparent is actually my top rated show to watch on Amazon Prime. It is completely hilarious and reminds me a lot of Arrested Development before the new script writers try to reboot the last season.

5

Start your Starz trial and watch Outlander, the Girlfriend Experience, the White Queen, Power, and the White Princess.

You can even try Starz for 7 days for free on Amazon. Starz has some decent tv shows and movies you can stream online. Outlander is one of their top rated shows to stream online. Everyone at work usually talks about Outlander. So of course I had to subscribe as well.

Avoid getting bags under your eye from binge watching shows. Once you start shows like Transparent, Game of Thrones, Westworld and Twin Peaks you are going to watch to finish all of the seasons in one setting. Have fun subscribing to all of the online streaming platforms. In my opinion it is worth the money.
